Why we Started TSR
TSR was founded by Tom and Kate, built on a shared passion for practical farming, animal performance, and doing things better on farm.
Having farmed themselves and spent years working closely alongside farmers, they understand what farmers actually need — honest advice, practical solutions, and someone who genuinely has their best interests at heart.
The goal is simple: to work alongside farmers not just as suppliers, but as partners — helping them achieve their production, animal health, and business goals. At TSR, we keep things practical, honest, and results-driven.
Meet our Wonderful Team
Tom Rogers
Co-founder · Farm Management & Nutrition
Tom was born in the UK and grew up on his family Dairy farm in Devon. His reasoning to moving to NZ, was that he got involved with a farm in the UK, running a NZ based system, using an extending grazing system for optimal grass utilization. He has experience from multiple dairy systems across the UK and NZ, developing a strong passion for dairy nutrition and what actually moves the needle on farm performance.
Kate Cooke
Co-founder · Animal Health & Nutrition
Kate grew up in the Waikato on a dairy farm and spent 12 years at Vetora as a vet tech before working alongside Tom in farm management. She brings a well-rounded understanding of how nutrition connects to animal health and production outcomes.
